Risthora: Data Deletion Instructions
Risthora: Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 8 October 2026.
Risthora is an online platform for restaurants, provided by ZETAVISION S.R.L., Via Don Leone Serafini 44/2, 38121 Trento (TN), Italy, VAT number IT02806560229 ("ZetaVision", "we"). This page explains how to have data removed from Risthora in three cases: a restaurant that connected its Meta account, a restaurant that wants its whole account deleted, and a guest who wants their data erased.
The console's labels are given in English, with the Italian label in brackets.
1. A restaurant that connected its Meta account
Disconnect from Risthora (recommended)
- Sign in to your restaurant's Risthora console as an owner who manages all the restaurant's locations.
- Open "Connections" ("Connessioni") in the menu.
- In "Ads and statistics" ("Pubblicità e statistiche"), find "Meta (Facebook and Instagram)" ("Meta (Facebook e Instagram)") and press "Set up" ("Configura").
- Press "Disconnect" ("Scollega") and confirm.
What this deletes, at once:
- the access token that Meta issued for your connection;
- the stored details of the connection: the business, advertising account, Page and pixel identifiers and names, the permissions granted and the connection's status.
Risthora also asks Meta to withdraw all the permissions you granted to the Risthora app. If Meta does not answer, the token is deleted anyway and Risthora can no longer use it.
What stays: the advertising spend figures already read stay in your restaurant's reports, because they are part of your restaurant's own records. To have them deleted too, follow section 2.
Remove the app at Meta
You can also remove the Risthora app at Meta: on Facebook, open "Settings and privacy", "Settings", "Business integrations" (https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=business_tools), select Risthora and press "Remove". Risthora can then no longer read your data: at its next read it marks the connection as revoked and asks you to connect again. To delete the connection details stored in Risthora as well, press "Disconnect" as above, or write to us (section 4).
Booking events sent to Meta
If you switched on the sending of booking events to your Meta dataset, an owner can switch it off in "Connections", "Server-side conversions" ("Conversioni lato server"). The access key you entered for it stays stored, encrypted, until you ask us to delete it (section 4); you can also revoke it at Meta, in Events Manager, in the settings of your dataset. Events that Meta has already received are kept by Meta under its own terms.
2. A restaurant that wants its account and data deleted
- Export first, if you want a copy. An owner who manages all the locations can download the restaurant's bookings, guest contacts (with their consents, opt-outs and suppressions) and offers as CSV files from "Connections", "Your data" ("I tuoi dati"), "Import and export" ("Importa ed esporta").
- Write to us at marco.filippo@zetavision.it from the owner's email address registered in Risthora, naming the restaurant and its web address. Before acting, ZetaVision confirms the request with an owner of the restaurant, by email or by phone.
- ZetaVision suspends the account: its booking pages and its console stop working.
- ZetaVision deletes the restaurant's data, including its guests' data, within 30 days, except the records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices. There is no self-service button for this today; ZetaVision carries out the deletion.
- Backup copies on our server are deleted after 14 days; the off-site copy and the archive in our office, kept for disaster recovery, have no automatic deletion date yet. A backup is never put back into the live service except to recover from an incident, and then every deletion made since is applied again.
Messages and data already sent to other services (email providers, Meta, Google) are kept by them under their own terms.
3. A guest who wants their data erased
The restaurant you booked with decides about your data, and Risthora processes it on that restaurant's behalf.
- Ask the restaurant. Its privacy notice is linked from its booking form. The restaurant forwards your request to ZetaVision on the day it receives it, and ZetaVision carries out the erasure in that restaurant's account.
- Or write to us at marco.filippo@zetavision.it. We forward your request to the restaurant within two working days and help it carry it out.
What an erasure does: your name, contact details, notes and answers are removed from that restaurant's bookings and replaced by a pseudonym, so the restaurant keeps the dates and the number of guests for its records but not you. Your contact record, preferences, waitlist entries and offer requests are deleted, and message records keep only their date and result. A one-way digest of your address and number is kept, so that an opt-out or a block you had stays in force and a later import cannot bring back your bookings or your consent. The erasure is done in one step that either completes entirely or changes nothing.
Timeline: the law gives one month from the day the restaurant received your request. The erasure takes effect as soon as ZetaVision runs it. ZetaVision aims to carry it out within seven days of receiving it.
If you booked at more than one restaurant, each one decides separately about your data: ask each of them.
To stop promotional emails at once, use the link at the end of any reminder or promotional email from the restaurant.
An erasure in Risthora cannot reach copies kept by email providers, Meta and Google under their own terms, copies in backups and server logs until they are deleted or overwritten (see the Privacy Policy, section 8), or systems the restaurant used before Risthora.
